I’m so impressed with the work 72 & Sunny put into this (not so) little jaunt. Action sports have come so far over the past few years, and this collection of athletes, artistry, and production is pure proof.

Last summer, Nike 6.0 and Friday Productions teamed up with a dozen of the world’s best snowboarders with one mission in mind: to push the creative limits of freestyle snowboarding.
Nike 6.0 always has a knack for developing well done creative content that ties so directly with their athletes; but this little jaunt still remains one of the best produced short documentaries I’ve ever seen out of this crowd…not to mention that the stunts these boys are throwing ended up putting some of them on the podium this past season.
Well done crew.

Nike 6.0 decked out an old motel on the side of PCH in Huntington Beach this past summer in support of the US Open of Surfing. Each room was completely personalized with style influenced straight from the passion and lifestyle that surfing excites. We managed to enjoy quite a few more private shows, mellow dinners, and good times with friends until 6.0 sadly shut it’s doors in mid-September. Hopefully, we’ll have the chance to recreate those memories come 2011.
