I want to live in a cabin one day. In the middle of nowhere. Total isolation. Just me, my dog, my love, and the mountains. 

After a five-day road trip (that should have only taken one day), I’m almost to my final destination! We stopped for a few days in Salt Lake City to visit some friends who are now living in the LDS state for snowboarding and school purposes. Then yesterday we trekked a long trek through the desert of Utah and Nevada (and a tiny corner of Arizona) to make it to Barstow, CA. We’ll be in Encinitas in a few hours. On the beach, and on to a new adventure in my life.
